is home for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), researchers and
inventors, and all those professional service providers involved in the
challenging and exciting task of innovation.
Based in The Green House, our mission is to help the
Highlands & Islands of Scotland turn ideas into commercial reality,
through a dynamic network of people and organisations. Many networking
organisations around the world have emerged from world class research
institutions to commercialise the latest research ideas.
Fusion, however, may well be the first networking
organisation of its kind in treating world class researchers and SMEs as
equal members and partners in commercialisation. Our SMEs and research
institutes are vibrant "idea factories", and our SMEs are invaluable
partners for the researchers in bringing commercialisation skills and
resources to the exploitation of ideas.
Networked together with investors, specialist lawyers,
accountants and consultants, FUSION is a powerful model for developing
innovation with all the available resources.
